A leather coin purse for your loose change of the old Half Penny featuring Queen Victoria on the reverse and also the old Half Crown coin.
During the manufacturing of these coins only one strike is possible at the embossing stage, as a result many do not make the final cut due to incorrect temperature or pressure. As a result the detail is not as pronounced on these purses as the versions in the main shop. These are seconds and the silver purses bears a faint line and some minor scuff marks, the gold purse has a small scuff mark after the letter A. This kind of wear will occur naturally but for this reason they are reduced in price.
I designed these coin purses in 2010 after finding my grand father's coin collection and they've been my best selling purses ever since. They were on sale at The Tower of London during their exhibition on Minting as well as at Liberty's, The V&A Museum, Hampton Court Palace and The National Gallery.
Lined in soft black suede and closes with a metal YKK zip.
